Year 4 News
We have had a really good week in Year 4.
This week we completed our Times Tables Check. The class were AMAZING! They have worked so hard this year and we are so proud of them! Thank you to parents and carers as well for encouraging TTRS and supporting us in our times table journey.
This week:
In English we have wrote our persuasive argument based on: Should pupils be allowed an afternoon break?
In reading we are exploring the text ‘KrindleKrax’ and focusing on answering comprehension questions
In Maths, we started our new book based on time and looked at: days, months and years.
In Geography, we have begun to look at culture within 4 countries (USA, Canada, Ecuador and Brazil)
Next week:
In maths, we will look at telling the time on analogue and digital clocks.
In reading we will be exploring the text ‘KrindleKrax’ and focusing on answering comprehension questions.
In Geography, we will continue to look at countries within North and South America.
Important things to remember:
PE Days will be Wednesday and Thursday this term.
Please send your child in with a hat this term for when the weather gets hotter.
Please make sure to send your child in with a rain jacket, for when the weather is bad.
